We celebrated the act of NOT going back to school as we kicked off our 7th Year with wonderful weather, good eats and great friends. The kids got a chance to run & play on the playground, build a fort in the woods and to ride scooters & bikes on the paths. It was warm and breezy with just enough sunshine to prompt some of the tw/eens into organizing a baseball game. Possibly re-living the first TNT (Teens & Tweens) Event from the night before at a home game for the Trenton Thunder.
With such a great start to our year it's no surprise that the group calendar is steadily filling with fantastic events for the year: Glass Fusing, Guitar Lab, Homeschool Gymnastics, a trip to the White House, monthly Family Game Nights, a Pond Study, Homeschool Movie Club, themed parties throughout the year, weekly park days... With so much to choose from I don't want to miss any of it!
Here's to another fabulous year of learning, laughing and living an unschooled life.
