End of Year Bash 2012

Wow!  7 years strong!  With the annual End of Year Bash we effectively close out another "school year."

We totally lucked out with a fantastic day amongst the gloomy, rainy ones.  Great food, great friends, and great weather - what more could we ask for?!

How about some pool time?  Our crazy children certainly didn't let the water temperature stop them from splashing & swimming and thoroughly enjoying the first swims of the season.

And even though sporting events are high this time of year we always have an open door policy.  Some came later, others came early - left - and came back to finish enjoying the festivities.  This year the older kids had a softball game running out front while the younger ones took to gathering moss and making fairy nooks.  The backyard chickens were a big hit especially since they were as interested in the kids as the kids were in them and they spent hours following each other.

Now our focus turns to submitting portfolios & evaluation letters followed by a, hopefully, calmer summer schedule of park days with friends along with sunshine and cool breezes.
